Today JSC “Sea Port of St. Petersburg” is the workplace for around 1100 people. The company is constantly improving the working conditions and environment, the preventive medical examinations are held on a regular basis. After one year of working in the company an employee can get a policy of voluntary health insurance or partial compensation of gym membership.

The company offers various benefits and compensations, financial assistance to single moms and large families.

Special attention is paid to sanatorium and resort treatment and recreation of the employees and their families. Port workers and their kids spend their vacations at “Mayak” recreation facility on the territory of the nature reserve area in the scenic part of Karelian Isthmus.

Every employee can become a member of the soccer team of Sea Port of St.Petersburg, which participates in the competitions each year and wins prizes. The company provides all the required facilities for the training: play field, coach, equipment and outfit.

To encourage the best employees, JSC “Sea Port of Saint Petersburg” established the company’s award – gold and silver badges of honor. Badge of honor is complemented with the diploma and a bonus.

In 2010 JSC “Sea Port of Saint Petersburg” was granted a “Certificate of trust to the employer”, which certifies that the company is included in the register of the employers guaranteeing the observance of the labour rights of its employees.

The company supports the Council of Port Veterans that is active for more than 30 years. On the quarterly basis, the port veterans get additional welfare assistance and receive additional payments on public holidays and jubilees.

News of the operations, plans for development, life of the colleagues and much more - the corporate newspaper “Our company” keeps the employees well informed.

In 2007 Sea Port of Saint Petersburg won the first prize in the review competition among guardianship boards of orphan homes of Saint Petersburg and was awarded a badge of honour “For humanization of schools of Saint Petersburg” and letter of award from the Governor.

Jointly with Shooting Union of Russia, the company founded “Sport Shooting Club “Olimpiets”, which was established in the end of 2006 with the support of the Administration of Saint Petersburg. The purpose of the club is the revitalization of Olympic shooting events, promotion of shooting sports for children and provision of training grounds for professional shooters and amateurs.

Since 2008, the club has been the unique training center in Saint Petersburg for young shooters with professional methods of training in clay target shooting.
