Structure of the company

CJSC “Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg” specializes in handling of all types of containers at the territory of the fourth cargo area of the Greater Port of Saint-Petersburg. It is located on the Turukhtannie Isles in the Coal Harbour of the Gulf of Finland.

Annual capacity of the container terminal put into operation instead of out-dated facilities for handling of general cargoes in the end of 2010 amounts to 500 000 TEUs. Area of the terminal is 32 Ha, capacity for simultaneous storage of containers amounts to 14 364 TEUs. 1 150 plugs were created for handling of reefer containers.

Terminal is equipped by 4 ship-to-shore cranes with the capacity of 50 tons, 10 rubber-tyred gantry cranes with the capacity of 50 tons, 2 reach-stackers with the capacity of 45 tons,  38 specialized lift-trucks with the capacity over 3 tons and other technological equipment. The terminal has also 2 railway tracks with the length of 480 m in its disposal.
